President Obama Keeping Promises to Outdoorsmen? Plus Helicopter Hog Hunting with State Representative Sid Miller!
Synopsis of Episode 13:
State Representative Sid Miller of Stephenville, drafted the 2009 legislation that would have allowed land owners to sell helicopter hog hunts. Unfortunately, the session ended before the bill could be voted on. We will discuss the current feral hog situation and whether or not he plans to try to get the bill passed in next January’s session.
Also, for any of you who read Field and Stream I was able to track down the author of the article “Obama Inaction” which appeared in the March issue of F&S. Bob Marshall is the conservation editor of the magazine and the outdoor editor of The New Orleans Time Picayune.
The article basically rips Obama for promising us (sportsmen) that he would do certain things for us and conservation. So far a board of experts hasn’t given Obama passing grades and Bob tells us why.
Cable also recaps his awesome opening weekend turkey hunting experience at the beautiful Star S Ranch!
