Synopsis of Episode 79:

Its gonna be a dang good one! We start off by talking reds, trout and flounder with our good buddy Captain Len Girard. Fishing from Corpus Christi Bay, thru the Upper Laguna Madre thru Baffin Bay and up to the Land Cut- Captain Len covers alot of water and has the specifics on where the fish are and what they are biting.

Then, larger than life personality and lifelong fisherman Bill Dance drops in to talk summertime crappie techniques with us. We are all pros when the crappie are spawning, but what about when they move back out into deeper water. Bill breaks what to look for when seeking schools of slabs during the heat of the summer- then he tells us how he catches them.

Next up is Delta Waterfowl President Rob Olson. Delta is the world’s oldest waterfowl conservation organization and we are celebrating their 100th anniversary with near record duck production! Rob breaks down the spring pond counts and gives his prediction for the 2011-2012 Texas Waterfowl season.

We round out the show when world record shotgunner and lifelong wingshooter Tom Knapp makes his return visit.
