Legend has it that John Nosler had to shoot the moose 6 times. All of them well placed shots with his 300 H&H, yet the moose wouldn’t go down. Upon returning home to Oregon from that 1946 British Columbia moose hunt, he knew he had to come up with something to more effectively put down big game. The NOSLER Partition was the result. Since the late 1940s, Nosler has continued to push innovation in big game bullet design and function with their Ballistic Tip and Accubond lines.

On this episode I’m joined by Nosler’s Madi Woodward. We discuss the company history and why their bullets still offer the best performance in the industry. We also relive some of our favorite hunts and what tags we have for this fall, including Madi’s trophy pronghorn hunt in a unit requiring 16 points to draw! Archery elk, mountain goat and Cable’s recent safari are also on the table.
