Wow what a week! Hunted the South Texas Brush Country for the first time. Saw more deer than I have ever seen. Harvested two nice bucks, including my first bow kill. Most importantly though I learned a vaulable lesson that I’ll share with yall on this weeks show.
We also had Captain Len Girard join us this week for our Coastal fishing report. Captain Len fishes from Corpus Christi past Baffin Bay all the way to the Land Cut. The black drum, redfish and flounder are on fire! Captain Len tells us where to catch them and what to use. Winter is a great time to catch big bull reds like this one.
Also, a special treat for all you big game hunters out there, when Randy Newberg of the Sportsman Channel’s hit show On Your Own Adventures drops in. We discuss the do it yourself public hunting style that Randy lives and breathes. He gives us tips on scouting public hunting lands and insight into how he chooses the draws he applies for each season. Randy with an amazing New Mexico bull elk.
