Off the top we check in with Waco’s Keith Miller who this weekend will wrap up his quest to catch at least one fish everyday for an entire year! Think about that- No sick days, bad weather, drought…yep Keith has fought thru it all. While most of his fish have been caught on the Brazos during his lunch break, Keith has traveled all over Texas and the U.S. catching a wide array of species this year. He talks about the highs and lows and the reason he undertook this epic adventure. Keith with a nice red fish:

Then one of our favorite Red Dirt artists drops in to talk some music and a whole lotta outdoors. Stoney LaRue was born in Texas and grew up in Southern Oklahoma. So to say the outdoors has been a major part of his life is a gross understatement. Stoney is a great songwriter and storyteller and I guarantee you won’t want to miss him share some of those stories with us.

We round out the show when Crappie Anglers of Texas’ Paul O’Bier joins us to talk some slabs! I had the pleasure of tagging along with Paul and Mackey Whyte on a crappie trip to Lake Fork last week. Man what a blast to fish with two guys who really know their stuff. We talk technique, setup, and of course we get into the CAT tournament trail and what the club has done for crappie fishing in Texas. Paul has been the CAT Angler of the Year four times now! We had a great trip and managed to land some big ol Lake Fork slabs!
