We start things off by talking with the newly crowned Bassmaster Classic Champ- Edwin Evers. After bringing a 5 fish limit weighing 29.3 lbs to the final day weigh in, Edwin was able to claim his first championship and a $300,000 pay check in front of his hometown crowd in Tulsa, Oklahoma. His day 3 performance was one for the ages.

Next we are joined by U.S. Army Ranger and Purple Heart Recipient Dave Hillary and Matt Klentzman- founders of Veterans Xtreme Adventures. I had the pleasure of hunting with these guys on a recent hog dogging outing and was able to see first hand how they use the Great Outdoors to get to the heart of what issues a Veteran might be dealing with. VXA is an amazing non profit and one that I am proud to be a part of.

We round out the show by talking spring turkey with our Texas Parks and Wildlife Turkey Program Leader Jason Hardin. With the South zone opening on the 19th of March and the North Zone on April 2nd, longbeards are on every turkey hunter’s mind. Jason gives us an overview on what the rains of the past 12 months have meant for turkey production and what to expect in the woods this spring.
